This simple and compact book was written, drafted and compiled by lecturers with vast experience in engineering and product design. This book consists of five chapters. In Chapter One, students will be introduced to the basics of engineering drawing such as the types of equipment used and concepts such as lines, scales, title blocks, lettering and dimensioning. In Chapter Two, students will be exposed to geometrical construction to enable them to understand and master the basic techniques of drawing. The other three chapters will explore orthographic projection, isometric drawing and sectional view. The content and diagrams provided will help students strengthen their visual thinking skills and in-depth understanding; after all, as the saying goes, seeing is believing. Students can also test their understanding by tackling the exercises provided in the book.
